Fun fact about this entrepreneur.
Fun Fact
spent nearly 10 years at Leo Burnett, a large advertising agency in Chicago, working on operations and technology projects for multi-national clients. I moved to Dayton in 2008 to launch my first business, CommuterAds, after winning a contract here.

The Snapshot

Entrepreneurs wake ups thinking about their business, at TEC we wake up thinking about entrepreneurs. TEC is the Dayton region’s resource for ALL entrepreneurs, from small businesses, to tech startups, to research commercialization, we are here for founders across the board. My role as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence is to support scaleable businesses as they launch and grow. I offer connections to critical services and guidance drawing on my own start-up experience and business background.

I was actually a tenant at TEC’s 714 E. Monument building when I started CommuterAds. I came on to the team in early 2018.

The best thing about working with entrepreneurs is being surrounded by people with the guts and grit to build an idea into a business.

The Advice

Write a business plan! I doesn’t have to be lengthy but it does need to be thoughtful.
