RE: Ohio Department of Development has recently issued the FY2010 Third Frontier Fuel Cell Program Request For Proposals.
The Ohio Department of Development anticipates awarding up to $10 million in grants for projects that accelerate the development and growth of the fuel cell industry in Ohio by direct financial support to organizations seeking to commercialize new products, manufacturing processes or technologies, or to adapt or modify existing components or systems that can reduce the cost of fuel cell systems or address technical and commercialization barriers; or demonstrate market readiness.
Letters of Intent to file a full proposal are due by 2:00 p.m. ET on August 25, 2009.
There will be a Bidder’s Conference for prospective respondents to the RFP, at which Ohio Department of Development staff will present information on the RFP and will answer questions. The meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m., August 14, 2009, at TechColumbus, 1275 Kinnear Road, Columbus, Ohio. Attendance at the Bidder’s Conference is encouraged but is not mandatory.
